It’s February in Arizona! Let’s explore all that the Phoenix and Scottsdale areas offer in the second month of 2018. Something is always going on in the Valley and February is full of exciting events to attend. Here is a sampling of just some of the long list of events this month:
Mesta Arts Center
Thursdays in February at the Mesa Arts Center help get you ready for Friday and then the weekend! Grab a lawn chair or a blanket to spread on the ground and go enjoy an evening concert of local talent. Food services will be available.
On February 2 in Downtown Mesa, the monthly motorcycle festival will be in full swing. Bring your bike to 1 North MacDonald and enjoy the live music, food, beer gardens, and other vendors along with fellow motorcycle enthusiasts.
Carnival of Illusion
Throughout February, be sure to catch a performance of the Carnival of Illusion, either at the Mesa Arts Center, the Arizona Biltmore Resort, the Tucson Grand Parlour, or the Tempe Center for the Arts. Get ready for a lot of laughs and plenty of fun as you submerse yourself in the magical mysteries proffered by this charming show.
Art and Wine
This three-day annual event takes place at 7135 E. Camelback Road in Scottsdale, near the South Bridge Pedestrian Walk, south of Nordstrom’s. Eighty artists vie for your attention with their fine works of art, while the culinary world showcases eight wineries February 9-11, 2018. Plenty of vino, gelato, and truffles can be had while listening to live music from nationally recognized touring groups.
Put the perfect exclamation point on Sundays before heading back to work on Mondays with this festival. On two Sundays, Feb. 18 and Feb. 25, Scottsdale A’Fair will present free outdoor concerts and markets showcasing some of the Valley’s most talented artisans. Sample local fare from the grill and enjoy the camaraderie of other fair participants.
Dogfest Walk N' Roll
Walk with your furry best friends for a special cause to help animal charities on February 24 at the Scottsdale Civic Center Mall. If you raise $100, you will receive a DogFest bandana to wear proudly. This is a great cause so put your walking shoes on and bring your best furry pal for a fun event.
It’s always a great time to enjoy events in the Valley. These events, plus many more, can be enjoyed close to home when you live near Phoenix and Scottsdale. If you are looking for a new or a second home in Phoenix or Scottsdale, contact a Launch Real Estate agent today.
